COLLECTIVE PROJECTS

2000-2012       Since 2000 works together with visual artists, writers and musicians exploring the notions of dissolved authorship and collective action. Co-founder of the art groups:

- .TXT Devoted to the publication and diffusion of the new tendencies in young Uruguayan literature and visual arts: http://puntotxt.wordpress.com

- PACIENTES Music group devoted to develop improvisation and composition-in-context projects: http://anticlimacus.wordpress.com/pacientes/

- TRASPUESTO DE UN ESTUDIO PARA UN RETRATO COMÚN (Transposed Study for a Common Portrait) A group of travelling visual artists and musicians devoted to portraiture. The group has developed five editions of the project in Uruguay and Brazil, produced 11 exhibitions and published 5 books: TDUEPURC #1 La Coronilla (2008), TDUEPURC #2 Conchillas (2009), TDUEPURC #3 Riozinho (2009), TDUEPURC #4 De Corrales a Tranqueras (2010) y TDUEPURC #5 FUNSA (2011). The project has been awarded and supported several times by public programs and institutions from Uruguay, Germany and Brazil.

- Since 2006 works with the composer Vladimir Guicheff developing an investigation on the relations between music and text. Works: El cantante, chamber opera, 2006-2008; Las madres, Liederbuch for female choir, 2009-2010.

2011     Selection and curatorial work  for the arts program Art & Youth, Ministry of Education and Culture, Paso de los Toros – Montevideo, Uruguay.

2010    Member of the Jury of the 2nd World Trade Center Sculpture Prize, Montevideo, Uruguay.

2009    Works in the application of the project Inside Installation in Uruguay, under the tutorship of the Reina Sofia Museum, Spain (National Museum for the Visual Arts).
